I am an ex-teacher of Geography and Geology with 10 years experience in secondary education within the UK. In addition I am a Chartered Geographer, a Fellow of the RGS, a Patron Member of RSGS, and work for the Geographical Association as a member of the WorldWise group and as a Geography Consultant. I am currently working on a PhD project based at University College London looking at how GIS can be used to facilitate acquisition and development of spatial thinking skills in secondary age geography students.
